ABC of the Sea app for iPhone and iPad

An exciting illustrated and animated guide to marine life for children. A playful tour of 26 charismatic ocean creatures, every page in this book has been illustrated by hand and carefully transferred to this digital format. Every image makes full use of the large format display of the iPad or the retina display of the iPhone 4.

Each critter has been animated in a simple fashion that is an approximation of how each animal behaves in its natural habitat. Familiar favorites such as a Shark and an Octopus, as well as more obscure creatures such as Riftia and Xyloplax, all parade, wiggle or swoop in their own way. Parents will enjoy reading this book to their children and younger readers will have fun watching these animals as they learn new words.

This app will work on older iOS devices, however some of the animation and page transition effects will use less demanding techniques. Page navigation uses left/right swipes as well as a hideaway contents page for direct navigation to a specific page.
